Many times people get
confused with Postal Code and Zip code when
doing their online registrations. This could be
registrations for Adsense, Overseas school
admission, Visa lottery, Job applications, Work
at home jobs, Surveys etc. It is important that
you know your correct postal code or else
if something is sent to the wrong postal
code, you will have a hard time getting it.
Postal codes are the direct mailing address of
a particular district. Do these steps if you
want to the postal code of the area in
which you live .
1. Type http://
www.nigeriapostcodes.com/views/ in
your web browser and hit enter. You will see
the pic below
2. Under STATE, click on the state you want
to get their postal code e.g Plateau
3. The website will then load the TOWNs in
Plateau, click on TOWN and select one of the
towns e.g Jos
4. Another box appears under TOWN for AREA,
choose the area that is nearest to where you
live e.g Giring/Dogonkarfe
5. A box will show up for STREET NAME where
most of the popular street in your AREA will
be shown, choose the one that is close to
where you live. e.g Abattoir
Once you choose the STREET NAME, You will
now see the button for GET POST CODE. Click
on the button, the postal code for the area
will be shown immediately. Mine is 930251.
Area: Giring/Dogon Karfe
Postcode: 930251
So when next time you are required to fill in
postal code especially for ADSENSE APPLICATION,
Do not guess ooooo !!!
